Might have to release this version without the Ai upscale as its not ready and looks like this will take more time then expected, plus I need to save up for Gigapixel to finish each sprite frame and its $100 I cant afford it right now, to be honest, I cant afford to live in this world.
So regarding the Mage, he was OP in the unreleased test versions and in COOP the Mage just killed everything before the Fighter could even hit an enemy so we had to balance the Mage for COOP, the reason the wands start with widespread fire is to make sure the mage could not kill everything from a distance, so as the Mage levels up the wands fire spread decreases and you can also input XP points to accuracy in the stats.
Seeing as I have never even seen a Brutal Hexen COOP stream/video or anything, this has been reverted back so the Mage now just kills everything but is a glass cannon.
So the Mage has had a complete rework, all wands have a brand new weapon framework but I cant write any spoilers, also reworked the rest of the weapons/spells etc
Maybe I could send you the beta version to test out the HUD with your 32:9 display as I have to emulate this resolution and my laptop goes to 0.0001 FPS and it sounds like its going to melt.
A kind user also mentioned to lock the HUD in 16:9 aspect ratio on a 32:9 display so the HUD elements are not at the edge of the screen but so far I have not found a solution to this and I have not seen any other ID1 mod that can replicate this or 32:9 HUD so it would be great if you could kindly test this theory that would be fantastic.
