I nearly have the Brutal Hexen VR update ready but I have Brutal Heretic VR ready to go optimized for VR. Hold a firetorch in realtime as you walk the crypts, not for the faint hearted, Brutal Heretic VR is well scary.
For more information on Brutal Heretic VR Edition WIP please head over to the ZDL Patreon page. These are separate mods that are built and optimized for VR only.
Also 3D weapons in a sprite based game looks really horrid, best to have all sprites, its much better in my view.
Regarding the Afrit at the beginning for Daedolon, yes that's standard but I have updated the MegaWAD to remove the Afrit on Mature difficulty settings ie this is the recommended settings for first time players. I sent you a DM regarding the MegaWAD,
Also the controls resetting on exit, allow me to look into this.

Just an update here.
New Brutal Hexen MegaWAD update is out now.
If you starting up COOP Online please make sure the host and all clients have the same MegaWAD version.
