How to create ID1 Tech Engine - Maps - ZDL_800 - 03-20-2021

Here is the tutorial on how to create ID1 Tech Engine maps, this will be updated in due course.

You require...

  •  WAD file ie DOOM/DOOM2.WAD 
          Available on Steam.com / GOG.com

  • Source port ie Chocolate or xzdoom ports
         Chocolate is a more traditional port and xzdoom is a more modern port (Links in the video tutorial)

  • Map Editor
         Here is the link to the Map editor.
         Builder 2.3 Editor - Downloads (drdteam.org)

  • Editor ie Slade3
         Here is the link to the Slade3 editor.
