You do know that there's other menus ie Stat/Crafting/Mana Formula/SelfHeal all with multiple panels which implement the cursor, you cannot simply move the entries to the lower part of the screen it simply will not work. So what SDK are you using for the controllers? The cursor ties to head movement seeing as you not using the headset the cursor will bug out.
I suggest for this weird setup you have to start Brutal Heretic instead, the whole framework for Brutal Hexen requires a re-write for VR, that's why I have VR Editions which are separate standalone titles. The menus need to be allocated in 3D space either with a controller pointer or trackpad pointer, not sure which framework I will decide just yet.
I appreciate the effort but you didn't really think ahead on this so just use the K/M setup.
