Hi I was looking forward to this mod, but I wasn't sure how to download this. I'm fairly new to modding and haven't had to go outside of moddb or google drive. Do I need VPN to download from the linked site? I read something about IP addresses. if anybody could point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

Everything should be in order, you do not require any VPN to access the download, did you read this on the moddb page?
That was me, ZDL writing that the new spam bot here on ZDOOM was too strict and literally blocked legit users from accessing this website, not the download link.
Let us know if you require any assistance on the setup, it's also highly recommended to use the Brutal Hexen MegaWAD which combines your legit Hexen and DLC WAD into one brutal campaign, not for the faint hearted, Brutal Hexen is well scary.

yes, I had read that but I also tried the download previously. I've tried it again, multiple times, on different browsers. every time it brings me to a site called hexupload.com. I click "free download" because it is the only prompt and redirects me to a pop-up like mediafire but in the same browser. the download never starts. do I need an account for this site? like I said, I don't have much experience with these kinds of sites.

I've just tested the link and it works fine, no-one has reported any issues, plus there is no popup to mediafire, its a simple free download, the site then goes to the download section where the browser would ask you to save the mod.
Most likely your browser is already prompting you to save the download, check your downloads in your browser.
No you don't require any account to download the mod.

I was in a CCNA 1 class where a user did not even know how to bring up CMD in Windows (let alone as an Admin).
He decided to stick it out and graduated by teaching himself.
The above user seems to have a rudimentary, at best, understanding of basic web surfing & computing concepts or has a computer that is a breeding ground for virii.
It sounds like a console would way more up their alley since they seem to have little desire to fix their own problem.
BTW, this is a great mod, mmm mmm, I sure do love playing it. Best mod for Hexen yet.
(Yes I am a dick and venting about people being stupid/wasting others time, this sh*t should be easy for anyone that mods their games)
